FAQ
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The AI model runs entirely inside your browser using WebGPU (or WASM as a fallback). Your image never leaves your device.
Why do I need to download a model the first time?
The segmentation model (~25 MB) is fetched once from a CDN and stored in your browser cache. After that it loads instantly and works offline.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP up to 20 MB. The output is always a PNG with a real alpha channel.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. On devices without WebGPU the tool automatically falls back to the WASM runtime with a smaller quantized model.
